What you need to know about curing cancer.

They tell us that if we live long enough, everyone will get cancer. They also tell us that treating cancer with chemotherapy and radiation is the best way to put it into remission. They never tell us that they can cure cancer. The they in this case is the medical establishment who control the options when the big C shows up in our lives. Well, what if what they tell us is not true? There is great danger in acting on information that we believe is correct when it is not. It happened to me when I took a hike last week and my car wouldn’t start. There I only wasted time.   But it can happen to anyone whether they consider themselves to be an expert or not. There is mounting evidence that the standard treatment for cancer is not effective but this information is kept from patients by medical professionals who think that they are right and refuse to consider alternatives. Being wrong with your health raises the stakes considerably.

There are Doctors that see cancer treatment differently

Suzanne Somers has written a book with her interviews of Doctors who don’t depend on chemotherapy and radiation to cure their cancer patients. Yes, it is that Suzanne Somers, the dumb blond roommate of John Ritter in a mindless sitcom of the 70’s. These days she is a woman on a mission to bring the truth about cancer treatment to the public. She is a breast cancer survivor and her experience has lead her away from conventional treatment to nutrition and other alternatives. She interviews Doctors who are successfully treating cancer patients without radiation and chemotherapy and finding cures.

Cancer is a naturally occurring state in the body and can be controlled when the body is healthy

The basic premise of these Doctors is that cancer is a naturally occurring state in the body and that it is normally controlled by the body’s own defense mechanisms. Rather than helping with this process, radiation and chemotherapy interfere and handicap the body while not stopping the cancer cells.

What you think you know that is wrong can kill you.

I am not going to summarize the book. I am not going to tell you that you should refuse chemotherapy or radiation if you are diagnosed with cancer. I do urge you to read the book and make up your own mind. That was Suzanne’s objective in writing the book. She fells strongly that people are not given the facts about cancer and its treatment and that they therefore agree to treatment which does not help them. It is not a diatribe against the medical profession but it does suggest some of the weaknesses of the training our doctors receive. It also reveals the fact that chemotherapy is stunningly ineffective in stopping cancer while it causes great damage to the body and its functions.

Decide for yourself what treatment makes sense

The book is called Knockout:Interviews with Doctors who are Curing Cancer and How to prevent getting it in the first place. It is endorsed by the Life Extension Foundation. I recommend that everyone read Knockout. Cancer is waiting for us all and I want to know what works and what doesn’t when it comes to curing it. More important, if I can do anything now to prevent cancer, I want to do it. I am in for the long haul and that means never getting cancer or beating it down should it show it’s face. This book was a wakeup call for me. I hope you will read it yourself and make up your own mind.
