Hello world!

This is to introduce my new blog.  There is no real theme. I intend to post items that interest me.  I will also from time to time include some personal comments and perhaps some pictures of things I like.  I have some strong opinions but I don’t intend to share them here.  If they leak out sometimes, call me on it because it wasn’t intentional.
