Today I’m asking a favor. I would like to ask every visitor to this post to leave a commnt. It doesn’t have to be a big effort, just a word or two will suffice. My hope is to get a better gage on how this blog is received and who my audience is. If I am to provide continuing value enough to have a steady readership, I need to know what people like and what they don’t like.
So today I am asking you to respond one of two ways. If you are here for the first time, leave me a message saying ‘First’ and how you found RCB. If you have visited before, say ‘NotFirst’ and tell me why you came back.
Obviously, this assumes that RCB has engaged you in some way that motivates you to respond. I will interpret lack of response to indicate that RCB fails to engage or provide valuable content which is good information. It will tell me that what I am doing now does not measure up to your expectations or requirements and I need to make some changes.
Ideally, I will learn something about the people who do return, what they like and what they don’t like or are indifferent to. Feedback is essential to providing value. I need your help. Responses, or lack or responses will give me a better message and help me improve RCB. I thank you in advance for helping me.
NotFirst! I read every post, just don’t always leave a comment. I have a fun and unique position in that we’ve met in person! Orchids are about to bloom, by the way. I will take pictures.
First!
Came here from your comment on Bluepop13’s – The Most Money You’ll Ever Make From your Blog.
Also – saw your comment on TheInfoPreneur ‘s blog. I’m a pretty active commentor over there.

Don,
Thanks for the feedback. Commenting is clearly a good way to find readers – at least once. Hope you find RCB interesting enough to come back,
Katie,
Thanks. Glad the orchids are ready to bloom. I’m afraid mine got damaged by the freeze. Won’t know how bad until Spring.
Yeah I found you via my site. You have a great strategy to increase your reader reach by commenting and adding value to each post you do comment on.
That is the key, to add value where ever you go.
Keep up the good work Ralph
Thanks Infopreneur. You provide great inspiration.

I like how you want to include your readers in what you’re doing and ask them what they like. And you’re responding to comments, both are huge.
Eric,
Thanks for the visit and the encouragement.
Good suggestion. I tried to pare down the response with this post because I didn’t want to waste time (LOL) looking for a questionnaire plugin.
Tom,
Good to have your comment. For some reason, it was determined to be spam by the software. I guess I will have to check more closely. I think once I slap their hands that they will view you favorably in the future.
