My blogging life is like being a blind race car driver on a crowded racetrack. I can’t see the other cars and have no idea which way the track goes. There is a radio playing which I switch from station to station seeking clues and information to keep me from collisions with the other drivers and to help me stay on course as the track meanders and weaves. So who are the guys that I tune to as I frantically steer my race car around the track? They change from time to time. I find new ones. I grow and change my needs but right now this is my list.
Keith Bloemendaal – Blogging need to knows
Heather Craik – Art with an edge
Sudeep Chitness – Health with an Indian Perspective
Maren Kate Donovan – Escaping the 9 to 5
David Doolin – wordpress guru and cheerleader
Mars Dorian- personal branding pioneer
Chris Ducker – Virtual Assistant guru
Eleanor Edwards- Charity with a personal flavor .
Frank Kern – the perfect day
Justin Matthews – kettlebell virtuoso
James Richmond – take no prisoners energizer bunny of blogging
David Risley– the legendary six-figure blogger
Steve Scott – Living the Dream.
Rob Sellen – Design your life role model
Michael Stelsner – Social Marketing guru
Carlos Velez – Pre-writing guru
Paul Worswick – Personal development coach

Awww, thanks Ralph 🙂 I feel honoured to be included in this list, it’s very kind of you 🙂
I have a quick tip too if you find yourself with 10 minutes to spare. It would be worth going back and changing the lovely blog links to ones that link to a specific post. That way, most of the bloggers you mention here will get an email telling them that you wrote about them. Unless they’re completely snowed under I suspect they’ll pop over to thank you. The only time it doesn’t work is when the blogger has track backs switched off but that’s fairly rare 😉
Thank you again,
Eleanor

Aha, I wondered why James does it that was. I find it annoying to be sent to a particular post and not the main page. Silly me.
Hey Ralph yeah Eleanor is bang on, unless these guys use Google Alerts or Backtype they may miss it, so link to specific posts to get more of a chance, that said thanks for the great mention I like the fact it’s 17 actually made it more interesting to find out why only 17 !
By the way is that our visits counter on the right? Those are great numbers ralph!

Seventeem was the number. I liked it too. I don’t know if I will change the post links. It takes a long time to get those links set up. It is faster to write. That is the visitor count. It is for 16 months but the numbers are growing.

Hooray! Glad lots of lovely blogging peeps have now come to join the party. I can understand why you would link to the front page but I personally love links straight into the heart and soul of the blog, particularly when it’s one I’m not familiar with. It gives me an easy way without having to try too hard 😉
Thank you again for the mention and I echo what Dave and Egg have said, you’re only as old as the woman you feel 😉

Yeah, I broke down.
Holy Crap Ralph! I am honored to be included on your list and in such prestigious company. Thanks Man, You keep me going as well. I may have given up on the Coots altogether by now if not for you.
Here’s to the Community in Blogistan and the friends that we make along the way
Later, Justin

Heck, I would never have started Coots, let alone whored for SEO.

Thanks!
We’ll talk about backlinks and stuff later. There’s a whole system for it. Not difficult, takes some time to learn (just like everything else).
Like I said, later.
And thanks again!

Later, That sums up my life. Not that much later left.
I feel it too, at my ripe young age of 48.
But what I mean by “later” is June… Heh…
Got your backlink on “Decommissioning,” thanks.

Thanks Ralph! That is quite a list of great bloggers, and I am honored to be included!
Most of them I read already but I spot a couple that I had not heard of, so the best part about being on these type of lists is for discovery of great talent!

Thanks Keith. I guess it takes a village to become a good blogger. At least for me. Each person on this list has something unique I need to learn – or at least understand.
Ralph…I feel pretty honored to make it on this list. It’s pretty cool to share this space with some of the awesome bloggers that I also personally follow.

You are living your dream. What can I say. You deserve to be here.
There’s an expression I have dredged from the back of my memory, which goes something like this: “Add life to years not years to life.” Thus, no matter how old you feel, it’s what you pack in that counts! Of course you have time. There is always a later if you stop counting.

Dr. Egg,
Nice to have you back. It’s not that I feel old, it is just that the clock is ticking.
Hooray! Thanks Ralph, that’s quite an accomplishment to be on that list. Quality people.
These are the people that get me going each day.
Wow, thanks for the mention!
Boy do I feel late to this party… ah well, lack of internet for a few days will do that. Good to see such an active comments section here though 🙂

I owe it all to namedropping – and Eleanor.
Dude,
Thanks for the mentioning. There some shiny diamonds in your collection, and I almost know all of them. I luv especially Maren Katen and James, two mavericks that really kick ass.
.-= Mars Dorian´s last blog ..How to Bring Down the Sky ! =-.
I think they all kick ass, each in a special way.
Hi Ralph
Thanks for the mention – much, MUCH appreciated.
It’s indeed an honor to get onto anybody ‘top’ list. Even more so someone who really has a great blog themselves.
Thanks again, and hope to see you over at the VBL blog again soon!
Best wishes,
Chris
